COMMUNITY SERVICE👷‍♂️

Well, not exactly, today, I am here to talk about volunteering. I have recently learned about something called the volunteer's folly, which states that anything you volunteer for which doesn't require a skill you have is useless work. For example, you are a fashion photographer and you earn about 5000 Rs a day for taking photos so you live a happy life in a nice apartment in Mumbai. You get to meet and talk to famous people often so you're living the high life. But one day you get a call from an old classmate saying that he or she is creating posters to help spread awareness about children who don't have homes. He wants you to take photos for posters to advertise a campaign for building foster homes. Now this would be a good opportunity for using your spare time. But if he had asked you to build those foster homes that would be a bad way to use your time. Don't you think that if you had hired a professional builder to do this job it would be much more efficient, sustainable, and better? Yes, yes the whole point of this is to do the work yourself, but it would be much more proper, you could say if a professional built it, not only that you could work extra hours to pay the guy but the remainder [if there is any] could be donated so not only did you get quality work done but you devised all of your work towards a good cause. Now you know where and when you have to volunteer.

I know that all of us are stuck with people that we sometimes don't get along with. So here are a few ways to control that negative feeling...
  • Schedule a moment to yourself in the day
  • Write down what you feel. Vent your anger in a book not the people around you 
  • Stop overwhelming yourself with things to do 
  • Just chill

#Today'sImportantTalk VICTORY!! We did it. Sure it's not over but we have gotten used to this reality and we are all rocking each other's world while keeping each other safe from a distance [6 feet ar more]. And I think that's a great achievement. #MyBigGoal To have fun and chill all day. #Today'sImportantTalk GMOs: SHOULD WE WORRY🌽 The straight answer, there is none. GMOs are Genetically Modified Organisms. We usually modify foods, so that they are easier to access for our ever-growing population. Adding modifications in plants and crops is just adding on to the existing DNA to make the plant more sustainable. there is a good side and bad side to adding GMOs.Let me give you two examples. One way we're using them is by infusing our food with more nutrients like proteins and for people who have deficiencies it will also make produce healthier. the other way GMOs are used is by making plants immune to pesticides, insecticides, and herbicides which might also cause cancer in humans.
